ProjectSt. Clair County Jail

Goodgame Company, Inc. was selected by the St. Clair County Commission to serve as the Construction Manager (CM) for a project to replace two aging jails located in Ashville and Pell City. The commission tasked Goodgame with identifying the ideal site, determining the appropriate jail capacity for St. Clair County, and developing a staffing plan to support the Sheriff’s operational needs for the new facility. Goodgame was also responsible for selecting the Architectural and Engineering team for the project.

The final design features a 333-bed facility spanning over 55,000 square feet, with provisions to expand by an additional 100 beds in the future. The building includes a full kitchen, laundry facility, medical treatment areas, cells designated for mental health holds, and administrative space. The construction cost for the facility was $33 million.
